Stuff I Like

This has to be the height of hubris.  Who do I think I am, Oprah?  What gall I have to think that anyone cares about what I like.

Seventh Sojourn Soap

I have sensitive skin.  Regular soaps make me break out like nobody’s business and up until 10 years ago, I just accepted it.  If I wanted to be clean and not spend huge amounts of money on medicinal soaps, I was going to suffer blotchy skin.  Then I found Seventh Sojourn Soap.  I was skeptical.  Anything that smelled that good, that strong, had to be laden with things just awful for my skin.  But hey, it couldn’t be any worse than anything else, right?  I was shocked and dismayed when I discovered this soap didn’t cause my skin to break out.

Truth be told, probably any handmade soap would do me just fine, but having met the people who make the soap and having a decade’s worth of trust built up in their products, I see no need to dabble in other soaps.  Each year at Bristol I stock up on my soap.  It is miraculous stuff because 1 bar lasts 1 person almost 1 month, yet it still lathers up quite nicely.  So I try to end the summer with 13 bars of soap of different scents, though I do have my favorite.  Arabian spice is nice, as is the grapefruit and satyr.
