Avatar continues to make great gains at the box office which boosts the Geek Index. A lot of non Geek movies dropped off the box office chart and television was dominated by forensic science procedure shows like CSI and NCIS. The Big Bang Theory, despite being a rerun also made the top ten and I think we can all agree The Big Bang Theory defines what the Geek Index is all about.
I was expecting to see some response in IMAX stock due to the success of Avatar but the stock price must have absorbed the expectations awhile ago so IMAX is riding at the year like the rest of the Geek stocks.
