It has been a long established fact that nobody uses the internet on Fridays. Look it up. It is true. You may be thinking that you are using the internet right now, but you would be wrong. You aren’t. Nobody uses the internet on Fridays.
This gives me carte blanche to do whatever the hell I want on the internet on Fridays. It is like driving down a rural road at 3 am. Nobody is going to care what you do. Seriously. Try it if you don’t believe me.
So in proper tradition of nobody using the internet of Friday, I bring some oddities that have tickled my fancy.
Eleven year old boy in the United States declared reincarnated Holy Man. How awesome is that? I mean I knew this stuff happened but not really… You know, like it was something that happened a long time ago but doesn’t happen now.
Have you seen the Stealth Droid commercial yet?
I watched this for the first time last night and I was immediately captivated. At first I thought it was an Air Force commercial flaunting their high tech, then the jets started firing off their payload and I was captivated.
I have no idea if the DROID is worth anything and I don’t care. This commercial was pure awesome. Such action and suspense. Get the team who made this commercial to make a movie with a District 9 budget. Seriously.
The Fall of the Wall. Do you remember where you were when the Berlin Wall fell? I was in my dormroom with my roommate watching it on a tiny black and white TV. The whole time I was waiting for the tanks to move in and crush everyone – I mean honestly I saw what happened in Tiananmen Square just a few years before. Authoritarianism was winning. Yet, nothing happened to the people and the wall fell.
